Grant Guidelines and Application Process
Guidelines
Season To Share funds organizations and programs that help meet the basic human needs of individuals in the metro-Denver community. Specific guidelines include:
- Service to people who are hungry.
- Emergency/short-term service to people who are homeless.
- Service to individuals in need of medical care who are uninsured or otherwise unable to afford such care.
- Service to young children (under the age of ten) who come from low-income families.
In addition organizations/programs must have:
- 501(c)3 status
- At least one year successful history for the organization or program
- Strong financial history (no or small deficit, and assets higher or only slightly less than liabilities)
Application Process
The grant application deadline for the 2007/2008 Season To Share campaign has passed.
The deadline to apply for funding from the 2008/2009 Season To Share campaign will be July 1, 2008.
To apply for funding from the Season To Share campaign, please send a written letter of intent on your organization’s letterhead along with your most recent audit or 990. The letter should include a description of the program that will receive the potential funding and how it fulfills the Season To Share guidelines. Please send this information to:

A letter of intent must be received before an application will be made available. Letters of intent will be accepted until June 20, 2008, and application packets will be distributed from May through June 2008. Please allow at least one week for your letter to be processed.
Deadline for letters of intent: June 20, 2008
Deadline for completed applications: July 1, 2008
Notification of grants and funding will occur in March 2009.
Grant requests from $5,000 to $50,000 will be considered |
